MESSAGE:
Proverbs 3: 5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heard and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways submit to Him and He will make your path straight.Completely trusting God is something that most of us fail to do specially when circumstances are far beyond our control. As christians, sometimes we tend to worry about what will happens next when confronted by trials. Even if we already entrust everything to Him still the feeling of uncomfortableness still lingers in our hearts and mind.
Going over this verses in the bible makes me rethink how exactly I should trust God. God requires us to trust him with all our hearts and by saying this it means completely, without any hesitation or reservation. All doubts should be set aside because no matter what the outcome will be, if you trust God, everything that follows will be His will.
PROMISE:
If we will trust him with all our heart and we will not lean on our own understanding, God will make our path straight. No matter how difficult the situation is, everything will be fine. He will give you His peace and this will calm you even during the fiercest storm that will come in your life. He will surely makes a way where there seems to be no way.
COMMAND:
Trust Him with all your heart and don't lean on your own understanding.
WARNING:
If we rely on our own understanding, this will lead us to destruction for it is not by our power nor by our might but by His spirit alone that we can do all things. Peace will never be with you and you will continue to worry for the final outcome.
APPLICATION:
From now on whenever I entrust something to God I will never worry about its end result for I know that whatever it is, it is His perfect will and I will always submit to His will. For His plans are far greater than what my mind can conceive. I will fully give my trust to my Lord who, in my entire life, has manifested His greatness and had never leave me nor forsake me.
